Within the framework of the initiative “Using local potential as the main resource for creating a unique tourist offer”, according to the project “Together for community and nature: Miorsky district”, a training seminar “How to create an interesting and safe bike route” was held on the basis of the farmstead “Crane Yelnya”with the financial support of the European Union.
It was attended by the owners of the Miorshchyna’s farmsteads: Kasia Kazachenok, Sergey Piletsky, Maxim Dovgun, project performers Marina Gernat, Olga Poteenok, Elena Pavlovskaya, Ekaterina Kurdutova, an employee of the sports and tourism sector of the Mior district Executive Committee, Maxim Filipovich, a history teacher, and others. The expert Anton Arkhipenko made a speech, who in his presentation told about the features and significance of creating bicycle routes. Alesya Kruchenok, a researcher at the Central Botanical Garden in Minsk, told about the creation of rare plant plantations at agricultural farms and schools in order to spread their species and prevent extinction. Local historian Vitold Ermalenok in his presentation shared his experience of creating numerous bike routes in Miorsky and neighboring districts. During the seminar, the participants asked various questions to the speakers, exchanged their thoughts on the topic.
