Republican Local History Forum dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the «Republican Center for Local History and Ecology»

Members of the circle “Argonauts of the Past” Pavel Voronko, Alexandra Matveeva, Arina Klimentyeva took part in the Republican local history forum dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the “Republican Center for Local History and Ecology”. Our “Argonaut” was very honored to represent the school museums of the Vitebsk region in the capital. The presentation showed the search activity of the circle to create a museum association. During the presentation, the participants and guests got acquainted with the most interesting finds of the museum, the main activities of the circle, the content of the expositions of the four museums. An exhibition of publications of the museum association was organized. The greatest attention was paid to the most interesting finds: the mirror of Emilia Plyater, the cover of the defender of Minsk in 1941, the things of the wizard for removing the evil eye. The presentation of the museums and the search activities of our circle caused delight among those present. They learned about the youth initiative to create an IT laboratory “Heritage of the Miory Region”.
